Project Management Step by Step: How to Plan & Manage a Highly Successful Project

Being a complete novice to project management I wanted to learn more about what it was all about to give me a greater understanding of the language and terminology. I am not actually involved in any project work as such but there is a lot a project work activity going on around me and I feel a lot more confident minuteing a meeting where projects are discussed and dealing with emails on behalf of the Director who I currently PA for relating to project work. I would definatley recommend this book to any other novices out there. And it makes it all look so easy.

I am not a project manager by trade or temperament but found myself needing to run (and take responsibility for) a large and high profile project. As such I am genuinely grateful for this book with its practical advice. I benefitted tremendously from it and would certainly recommend it to others without hesistation.
